Tenant
Relocation Advisers BV operates on a no-cure-no-pay basis, which means that it costs you nothing to register with us if you are looking for somewhere to live.
When we have established exactly what you want, one of our staff will take you to view a number of selected properties, show you around and tell you something about the property and the surrounding area. This is completely without obligation for you.
Properties are let furnished or semi-furnished:
- A semi-furnished property is at least fitted with floor covering (parquet or carpet), drapes or curtains, ceiling lighting, kitchen appliances and preferably also a washing-machine and drier
- As the word suggests, a furnished property is furthermore completely furnished and has linen, cooking and eating utensils, in addition to the above.
Rents are usually exclusive of the costs of gas, water, electricity, cable, telephone and other charges (such as for property tax, water board and water purification charges etc.).
When you have found a suitable property, we will negotiate with the landlord on your behalf. Once you have reached agreement, we will arrange for a lease agreement to be drawn up between you and the landlord. This agreement is in Dutch, but an English translation is available.
You should bear in mind that the first month's rent plus the deposit must have been paid before the keys are handed over. The deposit can vary from between 1 and 3 months rent, which is because the landlord is at liberty to decide how much deposit he wishes to demand.
There is an inspection of the property - ideally in the presence of the landlord, the tenant and one of our staff - on the date the lease agreement commences, the 'incheck', to take stock of the state of the property and if present, the contents.
At the end of the lease agreement, or in the event of an interim termination, there will be an 'outcheck', to again check the state of the property and the contents. Relocation Advisers will mediate in the event of any conflict or dispute.
Please use the following form to indicate the kind of property you require, so that we can contact you to discuss your options.
